The requirements document also expands upon information in the charter. It is a summary of the needs and wants of the client. The project manager or business analyst or any member of the project team captures all requests from stakeholders and details them in this document. Certain requirements are given high priority; others may be given low priority or even removed from the list. The requirements that remain and are documented in the requirements document will be later translated into the scope statement and ultimately implemented as deliverables.
